Yamaha FG Flagship! Mahogany side and back specs!"

The FG9 is the flagship model of the FG series, handmade at the Hamamatsu factory. The FG9 features an Adirondack spruce top, bolt-on neck construction, marquetry-style position marks, and a design inspired by the traditional Japanese craft of shimenawa-style binding and rosettes.
The FG9M has an elegant and light tone. Perhaps this is due to the Adirondack spruce top material. It is light, but also has tenacity. The sides and back are made of mahogany, which gives it warm resonance and sharpness. It produces a light sound, but with just the right amount of compression, so there is no impression of sound saturation even when played strongly. Both playability and tone quality are comfortable, making you want to play it forever.
Although it was designed for singing accompaniment, the volume and sustain are rich enough to be used for fingerstyle instrumental playing. The sound is not stagnant, so it can be used for technical bluegrass and fingerstyle music as well. The sound is well balanced, and it seems to be easy to handle for recording. The simple, yet timeless design is also excellent.
This is a guitar that will last a lifetime, regardless of whether you are a professional musician or a hobbyist.
