Chesapeake Series: Choptank
Choptank is a single cutaway 3 single pickup model named after the river that flows into the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.
This innovative model has its design roots in the Fender Telecaster, but with a set-neck joint, and has been further rearranged and improved in various ways.
The wooden pickguard is a unique feature of Nags Guitars, which values natural sound and appearance, and the overall woody taste, the smooth arching of the body top, and the smooth arching of the body back.
The smooth arches on the top of the body and the bold contours on the back of the body give it a beautiful shape that changes its expression from different angles.
The unique slim neck shape, named "52," is an intermediate grip between round and triangle, shaped in reference to the Fender necks of that year.
The grip is somewhere in between round and triangle. It is carefully finished to provide a good grip that seems to be absorbed by the left hand.
The neck of "Choptank" is set at 1-5/8 (about 41.3mm) nut width and 25-1/2" scale as same as Fender brand.
While adopting the traditional specifications of electric guitars, it is equipped with 22 frets, Tall-Thin frets for excellent performance, and a smooth 8-1/2" (approx. 216mm) fingerboard radius, placing it roughly in the middle of vintage and modern electric guitars.
The construction of the guitar is situated roughly in the middle of vintage and modern electric guitars. The Chesapeake is a traditional yet modern guitar, with improvements that allow for more radical playing.
The unique bridge unit, named "Chesapeake," is an original construction designed by Joe himself.

Six saddles are set to sink into a machined hard-steel base plate, eliminating unnecessary resonance.
The tremolo chop tank was officially added to the lineup based on the advice of Tsuyoshi Kon, one of Japan's leading first-call guitarists.
The rear pickup is mounted on a plate, which picks up more body vibration than ever before.
The rear pickup is mounted on a plate to pick up more body vibration than ever before and to achieve the crisp edge feel unique to single-pickup guitars.

This guitar has a maple top and alder back made of Tier 2 grade wood from the Choptank Trem, and a rare tulipwood pickguard.
The fingerboard is rosewood, and a Tier 2 maple neck is used. The wooden woods are carefully selected for the best finish without compromising each and every piece.
Fralin "BLUES SPECIAL" pickups are installed!
These hard materials are fused with the set neck made by the high standard woodworking technology that is the pride of "KNAGGS GUITARS" to create the brand theme of "rich overtones and rich sound".
The "rich overtones and sustain" theme of the brand is embodied to the fullest.
You can enjoy the clear sound without a trace of cloudiness.
