In addition to the passionate color scheme like a scorching flame, the wildly rampant flame maple is a distinctive feature of this Tier 2 grade instrument!

Founded in 2009 by Joe Knaggs and branding/marketing specialist Peter Wolfe, "Knaggs Guitars" is a guitar shop that carefully selects the woods and materials used.

The woods and materials used are carefully selected and assembled by a team of experienced senior guitar builders using the best techniques in the industry to "create the finest instruments and provide the best tools to satisfy players and guitar enthusiasts alike.

The "Chesapeake Series," named after the tributaries that flow into the Chesapeake Bay, has a string length (scale) of 25.5", which is in keeping with the Fender style, and is equipped with the original Chesapeake bridge.

This guitar is a "Tier 2" grade, which is the next highest grade of wood after Tier 1, and is considered to be a well-balanced grade with moderate decorations.

This "Severn" model was born out of Joe Knaggs' love for vintage guitars.
Along with the Choptank, it is a solid model based on the Fender Stratocaster style, the main model of the Chesapeake Series.

The body material is top made of superbly striped Tier 2 grade maple and the back is made of alder.

The wooden pickguard is a characteristic of Knaggs Guitars, which values natural sound and appearance, and the overall woody taste, smooth arching of the body top and bold contouring of the body back give it a beautiful shape that changes expression from different angles.

All Knaggs Guitars' paints are hand stained with aniline dyes, a finish that accentuates the grain and grain (flamed and quilted), and the coloring is even more divine.

The neck is made of maple (Tier 2 grade) with glimpses of flame. The fingerboard is made of tightly packed ebony. Diamond inlays are used for the inlays, giving this guitar an outstanding atmosphere.

The neck flame is also of the highest quality, and when viewed from different angles, you can catch a glimpse of the various expressions. It is a privilege for the player to be able to see this superb wood grain.

The low position is a soft V shape that changes to a C shape as it moves toward the high position, and the nut width is set at 1-5/8 (about 41.3mm). While adopting the traditional specifications of an electric guitar, it is equipped with 22 frets in the range.

The fretboard radius is a smooth 8.5", placing this guitar in the middle of vintage and modern electric guitars.

The unique bridge unit, named "Chesapeake," is an original construction designed by Joe himself. Six saddles are set to sink into a machined hard-steel base plate, eliminating unnecessary resonance. Smooth arm playing is possible.

The pickups include "Bareknuckle Pickups (BKP) / Aftermath" in the rear position and "Lindy Fralin / Blues Special" in the front and middle positions.
The tone knob can be pushed to activate the coil tap function, so it can be used as a three-single guitar.
