USED Gibson USA / Flying V Heritage Korina Reissue 1981-1983 - Natural [03]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a very rare Gibson Flying V Heritage Korina Reissue made between 1981 and 1983!

It has a 3-piece Korina body, a 3-piece Korina neck with a 21F joint that inherited the 70's specs, a rosewood fingerboard, and precious Korina wood.

The head logo, ABR-1 bridge, V-shaped plate, and body side rubbers are all close to the original specs and have a good atmosphere.

The front PU has been replaced with a rare open double-white TimShaw PAF, and the rear is a gold-covered TimShaw PAF that appears to be original, but both PUs have had their wiring extended.
Both PUs have extended wiring. The tone is vintage-like, with a rich middle and a nice, smooth sound, probably due to the influence of the Korina wood.

The pot was made in 1982.

There is a crack at the neck joint, but it has been repaired and is in good condition.

In addition, the pegs, front escutcheon, and toggle switch knob have been replaced, and a strap pin has been added.
The frets have probably been replaced as well, and are in good playing condition with a good amount of fret tops remaining.

The case comes with a genuine hard case, but the grip is damaged and has been replaced with an all-parts case. (The handle before the replacement is also included, but it is broken and unusable.)

There are some dents, scratches, peeling paint on the body back, weather checks, dull metal parts, and peeling chrome, but nothing that detracts from the appearance, and it is in good condition.
