'A bluesy-sounding tailpiece-spec 12-string guitar.'

This B-25-12 was made in 1966 with a rectangular bridge and a trapeze tailpiece. It has a warmer tone and shorter sustain compared to the popular pin bridge construction 12-string guitars. It has a unique jolin-jolin ethnic instrument sound.
There are dings, scratches, chipped and peeling paint, scattered weather checks, and multiple wood chips on the head. Our repair store has glued three cracks on the top (side of the fingerboard on the first string side, outside under the pickguard, and on the shoulder of the sixth string side), replaced the saddle, raised the nut, and crimped the bridge lift. A strap pin has been retrofitted on the side of the neck near the joint.
The truss rod has been checked to 90 degrees in the tightening direction. Unfortunately, the corrective action was biased toward the low position, but the neck is currently in good condition. The frets have some rutted wear spots, but there are no problems with the current playing.
As you can see, there is a dry resonance that is unique to vintage. Recommended for those who are looking for the muddy, sweet sound of old blues.

「ブルージーな鳴りのテール・ピース仕様の12弦ギター」

レクタングラー・ブリッジとトラピーズ・テールピースが採用されていた1966年製のB-25-12です。一般に普及しているピン・ブリッジ構造の12弦ギターと比較すると、ウォームなトーンで、サスティンは短めです。ジョリンジョリンとした民族楽器的なサウンドが独特です。
打痕、引っ掻き傷、塗膜の欠けや剥げ、ウェザー・チェックが散見され、ヘッドには木部の欠けも複数箇所あります。当店提携先のリペア・ショップにて、トップ3個所(1弦側指板脇、ピックガード下方外側、6弦側肩部)、バック3個所(両くびれ部、6弦側肩部)のクラック接着、サドル交換、ナットの嵩上げ、ブリッジ浮きの圧着をおこないました。ジョイント近くのネックの一元側の側面にストラップ・ピンが後付けされています。
トラス・ロッドは締め方向に90度までの動作確認をいたしました。残念ながら、矯正が効くのはロー・ポジション側に偏っていましたが、現状ネックの状態は適正です。フレットには轍状の摩耗箇所が見られますが、現状演奏に支障はありません。
渋さを感じさせてくれる見た目通り、ヴィンテージならではの乾いたレゾナンスがあります。古いブルースで聴かれるような、泥臭くいなたいサウンドをお求めの方にお勧めの一本です。
