This 22.5" scale, double neck, 6-string Stringmaster is a very nice example. All pots appear to be original, but the most recent date is the tone pot, which indicates it was made in 1979. This would be the product shipped at that time. Legged Fender steel is a coveted item for Japanese Hawaiian fans of yesteryear. It is still popular today.
There is a ding with a slight paint crack on the corner of the head near the 4th string peg on the lower neck, some paint peeling on the 6th string side of the control plate on the lower neck and near the front pickup, discoloration, dirt, rust and dullness on metal parts, but considering the age of the instrument, it is still in good shape. However, considering the age of the car, it can be said that the car has maintained a good appearance. The leg extends and retracts without any problems.
The sound is sharp and thick at the same time, which is typical of Fender steel made in the 1970s. It can be used for Hawaiian, Sacred Steel, and rock with drive.
The strings are a little old, but since we do not currently carry steel guitar strings, we will sell the strings as they were when we received them. Please understand. In the store, the upper row is open E and the lower row is open G.

「ハワイアン・ファン憧れのフェンダーのスティール！」

22.5インチ・スケール、ダブル・ネック、6弦仕様のストリングマスターです。全てのポットはオリジナルのようですが、デートが最も新しいのはトーン・ポットで1979年製を示しています。その当時に出荷された製品でしょう。レグ付きのフェンダーのスティールは往年の日本のハワイアン・ファンの憧れのアイテム。今なお人気です。
下段ネック4弦ペグ近くのヘッドの角に軽度な塗膜クラックを伴う打痕、下段ネックのコントロール・プレートの6弦側、フロント・ピックアップ近くに若干の塗膜の剥げが確認でき、変色や汚れ、金属部品の錆やくすみもありますが、年式を考慮すれば良好な外観を維持していると言えるでしょう。レグも問題なく伸縮いたします。
70年代製フェンダー・スティールらしい、シャープさを芯の太さを同時に感じさせるサウンドです。ハワイアンはもちろん、セイクリッド・スティールやドライブを効かせたロックにもお使いいただけるでしょう。
なお、弦が若干古びておりますが、只今当店ではスティール・ギター用の弦の扱いがないため、弦に関しましては入荷時の弦のまま販売とさせていただきます。ご了承くださいませ。店頭では上段をオープンE、下段をオープンGとしております。
