USED MUSIC MAN / Axis EX Trans Gold Quilt Maple [03]

Japanese-made AXIS, whose number on the used market is decreasing, is now in stock in used condition!
Made in Japan with USA parts, this model is popular for its cost performance. We have determined that it was made in 1997 based on the notation on the neck pocket.

The quilted maple top looks like the waves lapping on the beach, the basswood body, and the satin-finished bird's eye maple neck make this one look like a MUSICMAN, which is sure to please even the biggest AXIS fans.

The small body shape is unique to AXIS with excellent playability, and the characteristic asymmetrical neck grip is thicker on the 6th string side. The grip is coated with oil satin paint, which gives it a stress-free playability and a sense of security even on long stages.

The Schaller pegs, direct-mount DiMarzio humbuckers, and other brawny assembly features give this guitar a clear, edgy sound with extended sustain that does not collapse even under heavy distortion. The simple controls do not leave anything to be desired.

This is a signature model, but it has been loved as a regular model for many years.

Condition
There are some scratches and minor dents as well as fading of the paint and darkening of the satin coating on the neck, which are characteristic of the satin coating.
Also, the back panel is missing. The lock nut has been replaced.

The fretboard has been adjusted and fretted at our repair center when it arrived, so you can use it with confidence.
