Multi Tube D.I.
This is a tube D.I., but it has a built-in tube preamplifier that allows for a wide variety of sound creation.
This means that, for example, when you send a bass line on stage, the sound is usually sent to the front of the amp, and the tone is created by the P.A. operator.
No matter how much sound is created by the bass amp, the audience may hear a completely different sound.
For example, if the amp is producing a crunchy sound, the line is clean, and if the mic is picking up the sound of the amp, the line and mic sounds will not mix well together.
By using the Multi Tube D.I., the P.A. operator only needs to fine-tune the tone of the line and the natural crunch of the tube. The distinctive line distaste is also eliminated, and the line and amp blend better together.
When recording, you can get good results from everything you take on the line.
Recording with lines inevitably results in a cold, flat, inorganic sound image, but using the Multi Tube D.I. eliminates this problem.
In my own recordings, I use the Multi Tube D.I. for everything I record on line.
It works well with sampling sources, synthesizers, and other things recorded with a microphone during track down, and it is easy to determine a good localization.
When you want to distort other recording equipment, you are often forced to use a substitute to create distortion, but with this, you can create a comfortable distortion.
Since it is a vacuum tube, it does not compress the range and adds pleasant harmonics.
I also use it on vocals to control the texture by adding overtones rather than distorting.
I also use it on drums, which is different from using a compressor to crush them. Some engineers have ordered stereo type.
It is also effective to apply it to the total sound.
Other than that, it can be used as a normal pre-amp, so it is very useful to have one.
