We have a used Kay archtop in stock, made in the 1950s-60s.

Overall, there are dings, scratches, and tarnished metal parts.
There is a ding on the bottom of the first string side of the top that is the size of a grain of rice. There is a tape-like smudge on the lower part of the side 6 string side, but the details are unknown. There is also a similar spot on the upper center of the back, but the details of this spot are unknown.
There is a crack in the paint film at the neck joint on the back. The pegs are out of alignment, but this does not affect playability.
The bridge has a crack on the first string side that has been repaired.
The upper pickguard screw has been replaced with a recent one.
There is no spacer under the pickguard to prevent contact with the body.
The fingerboard has heavy dents. Overall, the binding is shrinking, especially in the neck of the body side and the low fret area on the first string side, which is progressively shrinking.

Please note that no repairs have been made in our store and the guitar is only given to you in its present condition.
The neck is twisted on the 6th string side and the truss rod has reached its limit in the tightening direction. The frets have been scraped and there is about 70% height left. There is no problem for normal playing.

1950年代から60年代製の、Kayのアーチトップが中古で入荷いたしました。

全体的には、打痕や擦り傷、金属パーツのくすみが見られます。
トップの1弦側の下方には米粒大の打痕があります。サイド6弦側の下方にはテープ跡のようなくもりがありますが、詳細は不明です。また、バックの中央上方に同様のくもりが見られますが、こちらも詳細は不明です。
バックのネックジョイント部分には塗膜の割れがあります。ペグの取り付け位置がズレておりますがプレイアビリティに支障はございません。
ブリッジの1弦側に割れの補正跡が見られます。
ピックガードの上部ネジは近年のものに交換されています。
ピックガード下にはボディとの接触を防ぐスペーサーが入っていません。
指板は激しい打痕があります。全体的にはバインディングがシュリンクしており、特にボディサイドのくびれ部分と1弦側のローフレット部分のシュリンクは進行しています。

修理は当店では行っておらず、現状でのみのお渡しとなりますので、ご了承ください。
ネックは6弦側にねじれており、トラスロッドは締め方向に限界に達しています。フレットは擦り合わせ済みで、高さは7割前後残っています。通常の演奏には問題ありません。
