1972 Precision Bass is now in stock!

In the 70's, the number of ash body basses increased, but this one has a rare combination of an alder body and rosewood fretboard.
The body is covered with weather checks, and the sunburst on the top of the body has lost its reddish color due to aging, making it look more like a two-color sunburst, which gives it a distinctive color!

The sound has a smooth and dry impression in contrast to the heavy and rich sound of the early 60's, and has a little in common with the maple-necked plebes of the late 50's. The response is sharp and responsive depending on how hard you play it.
The response is sharp, and the player's image directly jumps out from the amp, which is a real vintage pleasure!

The pickups have melted sponges and the dates cannot be confirmed, but they are believed to be original gray bobbin pickups.
Nuts, frets, pots, condensers, and jacks show signs of having been replaced in the past.
The PU/bridge fence is missing.

The neck is in good condition, and there is plenty of truss rod room, so this is a guitar that can still be used in the field!

70年代に入るとアッシュボディの個体が増えますがこちらは珍しいアルダーボディにローズウッド指板の組み合わせとなっております。
ボディにはびっしりとウェザーチェックが入っており、経年変化によりボディトップのサンバーストは赤みが抜け2カラーサンバーストに近くなっており、味のあるカラーが映える一本です！

サウンドは60年代前半の重厚で濃厚なサウンドは対照的にサラッとしたドライな印象で、50年代末のメイプルネックのプレベと少し共通するところがあります。
弾いた強さによる反応は鋭く、弾き手のイメージがダイレクトにアンプから飛び出す感覚はまさにビンテージの醍醐味です！

ピックアップはスポンジが溶けておりデイトは確認できませんが、グレイボビンのオリジナルと思われます。
ナット、フレット、ポット、コンデンサー、ジャックは過去に交換された形跡がございます。
PU/ブリッジフェンスが欠品しております。

ネックコンディションは良好で、トラスロッドの余裕も有りまだまだ現場にて活躍できる一本でございます！
