2007 Fender Custom Shop MBS Cusrom Special Jazzmaster by Dennis Galuszka

High spec Cusrom Special Jazzmaster with Jazzmaster sound and Jaguar controls.

Two-piece alder wood with brown oil finish and tortoiseshell pickguard.
Quartersawn maple neck with slabboard rosewood fingerboard.

Two single pickups with a mid-range feel that is closer to the P-90s.

The controls are Jaguar controls, with on/off and low-cut switches for each pickup on the 1st string, and a front pickup preset switch on the 6th string.
Front pickup preset switch/volume/tone on the 6-string side

There are dents on the 1st string side horn and body back.
Fingerboard radius is 7.25. Neck shape is similar to OVAL C. Fretboard is vintage type.
The frets are vintage type and have about 60-70% remaining.

Weight is also just right at 3.6 kg.
The looks are cool, but the sound is also top-notch!

-Dennis Galuszka-
Dennis Galuszka, a native of Southern California, worked as a furniture maker for 13 years while also making high-end acoustic guitars. A skilled drummer, he was offered an apprentice position at Custom Shop after a Master Builder happened to be in the band he auditioned for in 1999. Dennis' woodworking skills quickly became well known, and after only 8 months of apprenticeship, he was promoted to Master Builder.

Since then, he has worked on instruments for Paul McCartney, Andy Summers, Johnny Marr, Patrick Stump, Mike Durant, Sting, and many more. Dennis' work is characterized by incorporating unique features into classic Fender designs, such as double necks.

6弦側のフロントピックアッププリセットスイッチ/ヴォリューム/トーン

１弦側ホーン部やボディバックに打痕あり。
指板ラディアスは7.25、ネックシェイプはOVAL Cに近いシェイプです。
フレットはビンテージタイプのものが搭載されており、残り6～7割ほど。

南カリフォルニア出身のデニス・ガルスカは13年間、家具職人として働く傍ら、ハイエンド・アコースティックギター製作も行っていました。ドラマーとしても腕が立ち、1999年に受けたオーディションのバンドにたまたまMaster Builderが所属していたことをきっかけに、Custom Shopでの見習いのポジションを手に入れました。デニスの木工技術の高さが瞬く間に評判となり、わずか8ヶ月の見習い期間を経て、Master Builderへの昇格を果たします。

以後、彼はポール・マッカートニーやアンディー・サマーズ、ジョニー・マー、パトリック・スタンプ、マイク・ダーント、スティングなど錚々たるアーティストたちの楽器を手掛けてきました。ダブルネックなど、クラシックなフェンダーデザインにユニークなフィーチャーを盛り込むのも、デニスの作品の特徴です。
