USED Gibson / ES-165 Herb Ellis Vintage Sunburst -1997- [04]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1997 ES-165 Herb Ellis!

This model was introduced in 1991 as a tribute to the famous jazz player "Herb Ellis" and was produced until around 2013.
Like his beloved "1953 ES-175", which was replaced from P-90 to humbuckers, this model has humbuckers (490R) on the front, 1Vol & 1Tone control layout, and "Herb Ellis" signature is silk-screened on the headstock. The headstock is silk-screened with the signature of "Herb Ellis".

The body size, materials, double parallelogram inlays, zigzag tailpiece, and body binding are all in the style of the ES-175.
The top of the body is made of quaint figured maple, and the sunburst coloring gives the instrument a mature atmosphere.

There are no particular modifications, and the instrument is still in its original condition.
There is a ding on the back of the neck around the 2nd fret.
There is a slight twist in the neck, but it does not affect the playing.
The frets have been worn out, and there is about 60% remaining.

There are other scratches and dents from age, and the knob is cracked, but there are few scratches that can be seen from a distance and the guitar is relatively clean considering its age.
