1965 Jaguar Candy Apple Red is in stock!

Plate serial number is L79406. This early 1965 model features a rosewood fingerboard with dot position and a non-binding neck.
The color is Candy Apple Red wiped over silver at this time.

Neck Date is 1APR65B (April 1965), Pot Date is 137-6519 x 2 (1965). Vol on Preset Sound Switch side is not visible, but judging from the visible part on Preset side, it seems to be original.

Two original pickups are mounted.
Sponge under pickups have been replaced.

Paint is original, but it has been reliced and the silver underneath is showing on the top.
There are scratches, dents, and stains commensurate with its age.
The bridge, saddle, nut, and frets have been replaced, and the mute rubber is missing.
The frets have been replaced with medium jumbo type frets, with about 80% remaining.
The pickguard has shrunk, but is currently firmly in place.
The truss rod has been confirmed to be tightened to 90°.

The rear PU has an edgy Jaguar-like sound, and the front is powerful for a Jaguar.
The playing condition is fine, so please consider this opportunity.

Comes with non-genuine black Tolex case and arm.

プレートシリアルはL79406、ローズウッド指板のドット･ポジション、ノンバインディングネックが特徴の1965年初期の本機。
カラーはこの頃のシルバーの上から拭かれたCandy Apple Red。

Neck Dateは1APR65B(1965年4月)、Pot Dateは137-6519×2(1965年)。プリセットサウンドスイッチ側のVolは見えませんが、プリセット側の見える箇所から判断してオリジナルと思われます。

ピックアップはオリジナルを2基マウント。
ピックアップ下のスポンジが交換されております。

塗装はオリジナルですが、レリック加工されており、トップはかなり下地のシルバーが見えてきています。
年代相応の使用感や傷、打痕、汚れがございます。
パーツはブリッジとサドル、ナット、フレットが交換、ミュートゴムが欠品。
フレットはミディアムジャンボタイプのものに交換されており、残りは8割ほど。
ピックガードは縮んできておりますが、現状しっかり留まっています。
トラスロッドも締め方向90°まで確認済み。

ジャガーらしいエッジの効いたリアPUのサウンド、ジャガーの中ではパワフルなフロントが魅力的。
