After the production of "Les Paul Kalamazoo" in 1979, the demand for vintage Les Paul reissues increased, and the "Les Paul Standard 80" from the Heritage Series appeared in response.
The neck is a 3-piece, but the wood materials and elegant top carving, just like the original, show the enthusiasm of Gibson at the time.
The fine flame and honey sunburst on this model are combined to create a very atmospheric piece.

The pickups are original Tim Shaw PAF (New PAF).
When the pole piece was removed, the neck pickup was confirmed to have a cream bobbin on the pole piece side.

There are mounting ring screws (x1) and strap pins replaced.
The original frets are reasonably worn, but there is no sound clogging, and the guitar is still in playable condition.

1979年の「Les Paul Kalamazoo」の製作を経て、ヴィンテージ・レスポールのリイシューの需要が高まり、それに応える形で登場したヘリテイジ・シリーズの「Les Paul Standard 80」。
ネックは3Pですが、オリジナル同様のウッド・マテリアルや優美なトップのカービングなど、当時のギブソンの意気込みが感じられる一本です。
本機は、細かなフレイムとハニー・サンバーストが相まって、とても雰囲気のある個体です。

ピックアップはオリジナルのTim Shaw PAF(New PAF)を搭載。
ポールピースを外すとネック・ピックアップはポールピース側のボビンがクリームであることが確認できました。

マウント・リング・スクリュー(×1)、ストラップ・ピン交換あり。
オリジナルのフレットは相応に減りがございますが、音詰まりなどはなく、まだプレイできるコンディションです。
