Fender Stratocaster made in 1973 is now in stock.

Fender Stratocaster, born in the 50's, has been loved by many musicians all over the world and is still used by many guitarists to this day.

This 1973 Fender Stratocaster was made after Fender was acquired by CBS. It has a large head, truss rod adjustment from the head side, and a three-point neck plate.
The neck plate has a three-point fastening, and there are many other differences from the Fenders of the 1950s through the mid-1960s.
In the 70's, ash wood was often used for the body, and the one we have just received is also made of ash wood.

The neck date is stamped 22 MAR 73 B, indicating that this is a B neck made on March 22, 1973.
There is a "NATURAL" stamped in red in the caddy of the center pickup on the body, indicating that it was definitely made in the natural color.

The selector is made by CRL, but the maker of the selector is unknown.
The pickguard appears to be original, but there is an additional hole near the front/center tone knob, which is now covered by a screw.

The bridge is a die-cast bridge (No.010347) which seems to be from '73 or later. The back side of the bridge saddle also has the Fender part number "027037" stamped on it.

There is a difference in the shape of the post of pegs 1,3,4 and 2,5,6, which seems to be a sign that they were repaired with pegs of a similar age.

The frets are quite low due to many years of use, but there is currently no clogging or chattering.
There are spacers on both sides of the neck pocket on the body side to prevent the neck from being off-center.

There are some parts that have been replaced, but these repairs are necessary for long use and the guitar itself is highly original for a guitar of this age.

You can use it in its current condition or restore it to your liking. You can use it in its current condition or restore it to your own taste.

Comes with a late 70's molded hard case.

* Arm is missing.
