USED SPECTOR / NS-1BB [05]

Rare specs of NS-1BB from Brooklyn period, bolt-on & passive specs in stock!

This model is from the Brooklyn period when we were working with that Fodera before the Kramer period in 1985.
The NS-1B was manufactured from 1982 to 1983, and "NS-1BB" is marked under the bridge. The "B" stands for B version, meaning a passive model.

At the time, many NS-1s were converted to 2PU or 2PU version NS-2s were distributed, most of which were EMG specs, and it is said that there were about 300 NS-1s distributed from 1977 to 1980.

The nut and frets have been replaced, and the Vol and Tone pots have been replaced with CTS made in recent years.
The PU is a DiMaggio DP122, which is typical of the early models of that time.
It is also equipped with a BADASS I, a symbol of the time.

There are some dents and scratches on the body, but they are not unnatural and are not noticeable due to the satin finish.
There is a slight gap along the center ply at the top and bottom of the bridge, but it is minor and not even the tip of a thin sheet of paper can fit through it.
There is also a 1.5cm long putty mark where a gap was filled with putty in the center ply area in the past.
The back panel is distorted by age, but can be removed. The strap pin is a Schaller lock pin type.
The neck condition is fine, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the direction to tighten or loosen, and can still be turned and adjusted in the direction to tighten.
The frets are about 70-80% full with no noticeable string marks. The current string height is about 2.2mm on the 6th string at the 12th fret, and about 2.0mm on the 1st string.

Overall, the guitar shows signs of use commensurate with its age, but the neck is in good condition and can still be used!
This is a rare model for Spector enthusiasts. Not only bolt-on models, but also passive models are less common, which tickles the collector's fancy! Please buy it as soon as possible!
