Made in 2008. A good conditioned piece after more than a decade of age. The hardness of the sound has begun to be removed, and this is one that gives the sound pressure with a powerful bass tone.
The D-42 has always been popular among the 40s for its vintage style looks.
This model is easy to feel the gentleness and sound pressure even when new, but you can feel the growth from the years.

Overall, there are a few light scratches, but there is no major damage, and the overall beauty of the instrument is maintained.
The top of the bridge has been slowly burnished, and it has a good color and style.
The binding is shrinking due to age, and there are gaps in the neck heel cap, near the nut, and in the neck side binding near the sound hole, but none of these are a problem when playing.
The neck is in good condition, and there is no bulging at the top, so playability is good.

2008年製。十数年の年月を経たコンディション良好な個体。サウンドの硬さも取れはじめて、パワフルな低音で音圧を感じる1本です。
40番台の中でもヴィンテージスタイルなルックスで昔から人気を博しているD-42。
新品でも優しさと音圧を感じやすいモデルですが、年月を経たことによる成長を感じさせてくれます。

全体的に薄い線傷等は散見されますが大きなダメージもなく全体的に美品と言える綺麗さを保っています。
トップもゆっくりと焼けてきたのか、程よい色焼けをした風格を纏っています。
経年によるバインディングの収縮が見られ、ネックヒールキャップ部、ナット付近やサウンドホール付近のネックサイドバインディングに隙間がみられますが、いずれも現状演奏上問題は御座いません。
ネックコンディションも現状良好、トップの膨らみも現状みられず演奏性もGood。
若干の金属部のくすみは見られますが全体的に丁寧に扱われてきた印象を受ける良質なD-42です。
