This "D-28 John Lennon" follows on from the anniversary model commemorating the 75th anniversary of John Lennon's birth. The body top is made of veneer Sitka spruce with VTS treatment, and the body sides and back are made of East Indian rosewood, which is a familiar specification. The sound of this instrument is not only great, but also very unique. The sound is of course a must-see, but the design of this D-28 "John Lennon" is also a must-see point, with a piece signature on the center strip of the body back, and the famous trademark illustration of himself on the rosewood veneer of the head. The head rosewood veneer is decorated with his trademark illustration of himself under the Martin script logo. The ebony fingerboard also features a mother-of-pearl inlay with a peaceful design reminiscent of John Lennon, creating a chic look with "John Lennon" shining through the simple and sophisticated look of the D-28.
Although this guitar was made in 2016, there are only a few scratches and dings throughout the body, and the pickguard film has not been removed, indicating that it has been used with great care by the previous owner. The binding has shrunk over time, and there are gaps in the body back binding at the neck heel and the neck heel binding, which have been repaired. The neck condition is in good condition with no warping, twisting, buckling, or rippling, and playability is excellent.
