USED FENDER / 1966 Electric XII Sunburst 1965 SPEC [05]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1966 Fender Electric XII.

This Fender 12-string model was produced from about 1965-69.
It may be fresh in your mind that it was reissued around 2019 with some design changes.
It is said that this model was not very popular at that time, but now it is a rare model that has been reevaluated and has strong popularity.

The Electric XII is an important model in Fender's history, as it was newly designed for this model, while other 12-string electric guitars at the time of its development were based on existing shapes.
The head is also called "Hockey Stick Head" because of its unique shape, which gives it a different look from the Snake Head Telecaster.

The serial number on the plate is 23971.
The head decal is "3,143,028 2,960,900 & PAT.PEND", which is the same number as the early model.
PEND". The later model has been changed to "3,143,028 2,960,900 3,177,283 & PAT.
The fretboard is made of Hakaranda, and some of the pickups are grazed, but they were made in November of 1965.

The serial number on the plate is 66, but the year is actually 65, so we will describe it as 1965 specs made in 1966.

The pots and capacitors have been changed, and the cavity has been treated with conductive paint.

The frets are high and the guitar is still in good working condition.

This guitar is one of the rarest guitars in the history of Fender, and one of the rarest guitars in the history of Fender.
