1977 Pre-Earnie period superb Stingray in stock!

The STINGRAY BASS is one of the three masterpieces of the electric bass guitar invented by Leo Fender.
While inheriting the quality of the classic machines that have changed the history of music, such as the Precision Bass and the Jazz Bass, Leo Fender has incorporated his expertise in electric technology into the instrument.
By incorporating Leo's own expertise in electrical technology into the instrument itself, the STINGRAY BASS was launched as an electric bass for the new era, suitable for the end of the 1970s, with an overwhelming range.

Active circuits, as they would later be called, became popular mainly among bass players, and from the early 1980s, many manufacturers began to actively adopt active circuits.
Needless to say, active circuits have become the norm for modern electric basses.

This model has both neck date and pot date of 1977, and serial number BO~.
The lacquer adhesion marks on the back of the joint plate also match.

The preamp base is tar epoxy coated and also remains original.
Only the treble pot can be dated and is 7733. The volume and BASS pots may be replaced.

The frets and nut have been replaced before this happens, although there is a fairly high probability that the neck will fail.
The truss rod is currently in good condition and there are no cracks on the fingerboard near the nut. Playability is excellent.
The micro-tilt, bridge, and other parts that can be moved with a wrench all work.

The number of guitars that can be played in as close to original condition as possible has been decreasing over the years.
Please take advantage of this opportunity...

STINGRAY BASS
