Fender's The STRAT is now in stock.

The STRAT was born in 1980. The production period was short and lasted until 1983.
This model was designed by Greg Wilson, who was in charge of Fender's research and development at that time.
It was developed based on the concept of returning to the original Stratocaster specifications, and was developed as a different model from the Stratocaster of the time.

It has a small head like the original model. The neck joint is also a 4-point fastener.
The truss rod was also changed to the neck end instead of the head top.

While the basic specs are based on the original, the bridge is equipped with a large brass tremolo bridge, and the control knobs and jack plate are unified with the same color, which is unique to the 80s.

The controls are 1Volume, 1Tone, and the Tone knob, usually used for the center, is a 2-way switch.
In addition to the normal switch, the Tone knob can be switched in 9 ways: Front + Middle Series, Middle + Rear Series, Front + Rear Parallel, and (Front + Rear Parallel) + Middle.

As the instrument has been in existence for almost 40 years, there are some signs of use such as scratches, dents, and dull hardware, but it has been checked and overall adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.

1980年に誕生したThe STRAT。 製造期間は短く1983年までとなっています。
当時のフェンダーの研究開発責任者だったグレッグ･ウィルソンによって設計されたモデル。
オリジナル仕様のストラトキャスターに還るというコンセプトで開発されており、当時のストラトキャスターとは別のモデルとして開発されています。

オリジナルモデルと同様にスモールヘッドを採用。ネックジョイントも４点留めに。
トラスロッドもヘッドトップではなくネックエンドに変更されるなど、原点回帰とも言えるモデルとなっています。

基本的はスペックはオリジナルを意識しながらもブリッジには大型のブラストレモロブリッジを搭載していたり、コントロールノブやジャックプレートも同一のカラーで統一するなど、80年代らしいこの頃ならではのユニークな仕様となっています。

コントロールは1Volume、1Toneとなっており、通常センター用のToneノブは2Wayスイッチになっています。
こちらはノーマルの切替に加え、フロント＋ミドルのシリーズ、ミドル＋リアのシリーズ、フロント＋リアのパラレル、(フロント＋リアのパラレル)＋ミドルの9通りの切替が可能となっています。

誕生から40年近くが経過している個体の為、傷や打痕、ハードウェアのくすみなどの使用感はございますが、入荷後に専門のリペア担当にてチェック･全体調整を行い、演奏コンディションも良好です。
