We are pleased to announce the arrival of a Martin 000-18 made in 1952.

The "Martin 000" series is one of the most popular acoustic guitar models. The "000-18" has a soft sound and excellent picking response, and can be used for all-round musical enjoyment.
This model was made in 1952, with spruce body top, mahogany back and sides, 632.5mm scale, 43mm nut width, gentle V-shaped neck, and long saddle.

The nut and saddle were rebuilt, the bridge was reattached, the bracing was reattached, the pickguard was rebuilt, the binding was reattached, the neck was reset, the fingerboard was modified, the frets were replaced, the pegs were replaced, the bridge pins were replaced, additional strap pins were added near the heel on the side of the body, additional strap pins were added at the end, and the heel was replaced with a new strap pin. All of these modifications have been made to maintain playability as well as to correct the age-related changes. There is a crack on the surface layer of the wood near the pickguard, but it does not reach the inside of the guitar and is located near the bracing, so it can be used without any problem. The strap pins that have been added near the neck joint on the side of the body have been hit from the inside of the body for installation.

This guitar is in player's condition, but has been modified to maintain its condition and playability, and is recommended for players who want to enjoy playing music with a vintage sound.

代表的なアコースティックギターの機種である”Martin 000”シリーズ。柔らかい印象を持つサウンドと優れたピッキングレスポンスを兼ね備えた、オールラウンドに音楽を楽しむことが出来る”000-18”。
本機は1952年製の一本で、ボディ・トップにはスプルース、バック＆サイドはマホガニー、約632.5mmのスケール、ナット幅約43mm、緩やかなVシェイプのネックシェイプ、ロングサドルといったお馴染みの仕様。

ナット、サドルの再制作、ブリッジ再接着、ブレーシング再接着、ピックガード再制作、バインディング再接着、ネックリセット、指板修正、フレット交換、ペグ交換、ブリッジピン交換、ボディサイド部ヒール付近のストラップピン増設、エンド部ストラップピン増設、ヒール部ストラップピン穴埋めが行われており、いずれも経年変化による修正及び演奏性を保つ為の修正が行われております。ピックガード付近には木部表層の割れが起こっておりますが、内部まで到達している割れでは無いかつブレーシング付近の割れとなる為、問題なく仕様可能です。ボディサイド部ネックジョイント付近に増設されているストラップピンは設置の為にボディ内部より当木がされております。

プレイヤーズコンディションの一本でございますが、コンディションやプレイアビリティを保つための修正が行われておりますので、ヴィンテージサウンドをガンガン使って音楽を楽しみたいプレイヤーにオススメの一本。
