USED GIBSON / 1992 Pre- Historic 1957 Les Paul Custom 3-Pickups "Black Beauty" [05]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1992 1957 Les Paul Custom.
This guitar was made before the establishment of Gibson Custom Shop in 1993, and is known as a "pre-historic" model.

It was born in 1954 as a higher-end Les Paul model. Production stopped in 1960, but resumed in 1968.
When it was introduced in 1954, it was all mahogany, but from 1968, it was changed to maple top and mahogany back construction like the Standard, and some specification changes have been made since then.

The model in stock is a reissue model based on the 1957 model, which was made before the reissue, with an all-mahogany body and neck, the most distinctive features of the 1950s.
The fretboard is made of ebony, which is a common choice for Les Paul Custom guitars in recent years due to the rising cost of wood and the depletion of rich light.

Three "57 Classic" pickups are mounted.
The sound and look of the three pickups are truly The Black Beauty!
It is no exaggeration to say that this is one of the best rock icon guitars.

The nuts have been replaced and the strap pins have been changed to Shearer lock type, but there are no other changes. The gold parts have been well taken care of by the previous owner, mainly in the areas that are touched by hands, and they are still in good condition with a lot of beautiful shine.

There is a slight crack on the Ebony at the 22nd fret, which is the last fret on the fingerboard, but it is not at a level that would interfere with playing, and the instrument can be used without any problems at present.

There are scratches, dents, burn marks on the stand, and other signs of use, but all of them give this guitar a dignified appearance, and it wears the aura that only the real thing that has been through all the battles of the past can give off.

There are not many 3-pickup 57 Custom guitars on the market, and the number of pre-historic era guitars is even fewer, making it a rare model.
