Serial number 507320, Firebird was designed by car designer Raymond Dietrich in 1963, and the base version, ThunderBird, was also designed by Dietrich and released at the same time.

After that, various versions were introduced to the world, and in 1965, a major model change was made, at which time the Non-Reverse Firebird was born. The model we have just received is one from the period when the model underwent a major change.

Mahogany is used for the body and neck, and rosewood for the fingerboard. The Firebird had a through-neck construction, but the Non-Reverse uses a set-neck joint.

The angled headstock has a six-peg layout, and dot markers are used for positions. In addition, a short - vibrato roller that creates a unique tension feel and three original P-90s are mounted on the pickups, which are the key to the sound. The midrange is more pronounced than that of a mini-ham, and the sound character is more suited for rock.

POT DATE is 137-65XX x 1 as far as we can see, and other POTs are hidden by soldered parts and cannot be determined. However, since there is no evidence of solder modification or removal, all pots are judged to be original. Of course, the condenser is also original.

The pickguard has shrunk due to aging, and the pegs are slightly stiff. The slide switch and jack have been replaced, and there is a missing piece of wood in the pickup cavity (see picture), but there is no problem in terms of strength.

The truss rod has plenty of room, and playability is good. The rest of the parts are original except for the SW and jack, which are highly original and in beautiful condition.
