For customers residing in Japan
1967 Epiphone E360TD Riviera is now in stock.

This is Epiphone's original semi-acoustic model developed in the 1960s.
The famous Riviera has the same size body as the Casino, another original model of the company, and the ES-335 of its parent company, Gibson.

The Casino has a single-coil P90 pickup mounted, while the Riviera is equipped with a mini humbucker.
The body construction is also semi-acoustic in the Riviera while the Casino is full-acoustic.
At first glance, the models look similar but have quite different specifications.

The neck shape until around 1965 had a nut width of about 4,2 mm, while the new 1967 model in stock has a narrower neck shape with a nut width of about 40 mm.

The two mounted mini-humbuckers are both original sticker-numbered.
The pots are '67 for the rear volume, the front is partially hidden by solder but is '60s, and both tones have been replaced, both by CTS.
Since the serial numbers are the same, it is likely that they were replaced during overhaul. The capacitors are original Sprague Black Beauty.

The control knobs are original with some cracks and deformation.
The Tone knob on the rear pickup has a large chip, but as it is an original part, it is in present condition.

The tailpiece is the original Blanco tailpiece, but the bridge has been changed to a Gibson ABR-1 wired type.
The nuts and frets have been replaced in the past, and there is a possibility that the fingerboard has been adjusted several times in the past, as some of the position marks on the side of the fingerboard have been shaved off.

The neck is in good playing condition with some minor rippling, but it has been rubbed together after arrival.

The exterior of the guitar has aged beautifully, but the electrical parts have also aged very well, and when connected to an amp, the guitar immediately produces a vintage, angular, and rich sound.

Compared to the Casino, there are far fewer of these rare vintage Riviera guitars on the market.
The Japanese-made Riviera from the 1970s is also valuable, but this one is a genuine USA Kalamazoo factory-made model!
The blue label inside the f-holes also retains a relatively clean blue color.

It is possible to use the instrument in its current condition, but it is also possible to spend time and money to overhaul the instrument to suit your own taste.

This is a recommended vintage guitar that can be used without hesitation.
