Serial: 352501, Pot Date: 137-7222(T), XXX-7221(V), made in 1972.

This Telecaster Bass is a reissue of the original Precision Bass from the 1950's. In 1972, the pickups were changed to humbuckers, giving it a more unique sound and appearance. This is a 1972 model equipped with humbuckers. You can catch a glimpse of Fender's iconic look and inspiration.

The ash body is painted blonde so that the grain can be seen, and the neck is maple, a royal combination. The neck date is 23MAY72B, made in 1972. Fret and nut have been replaced.

Only the front of the head of the neck has been over-lacquered. There is a small crack near the truss rod (see picture), but there is enough room for the truss rod and there is no problem in playing.

The pickups are original humbuckers with FENDER engraved pickup covers. It provides a warm, dynamic, and powerful Fender sound.

Overall, there are some dings, scratches, and peeling paint commensurate with its age, but it is in good playing condition. This Telecaster Bass has features not found on other Fender models, and we hope you will consider this opportunity to purchase one.

1950年代のオリジナルのプレシジョンベースをリイシューするかたちで登場したTelecaster Bass。1972年からピックアップがハムバッカーに変更になり、より個性的なサウンド・見た目に変わってきます。本個体はそのハムバッカーを搭載した1972年の個体です。フェンダーならではのアイコニックなルックス・インスピレーションを垣間見れますね。

アッシュボディに杢目が見えるよう塗装されたブロンドカラー、ネックはメイプルという王道の組み合わせ。ネックデイトは23MAY72Bの72年製。フレット・ナットが交換されています。

ネックのヘッド部分表のみオーバーラッカーされています。またトラスロッド付近に小さな割れ(画像参照)がございますが、現状トラスロッドも余裕があり、プレイ上の問題はございません。

ピックアップはFENDER刻印が入ったピックアップカバーのオリジナルハムバッカーを搭載しています。温かでダイナミック、パワフルなフェンダーサウンドを提供します。

全体的には年式相応の打痕やキズ、塗装剥がれなどございますがプレイコンディションは良好です。他のフェンダーモデルでは見られない特徴が魅力のTelecaster Bass、ぜひこの機会にご検討くださいませ。
