1983 Elite Stratocaster is now in stock.

In the 1980s, Fender was developing new products such as "The STRAT" and "Smith Strat" from a completely different angle from the 1970s.
The Elite Stratocaster we have just received was one of the products developed during this period.

The unique shape of the pickups incorporates a dummy coil for hum canceling.
Three low-noise single coils are mounted, a feature also found in later noiseless and many replacement pickups.
There is no lever for the PU selector, and the three buttons are on/off for each.

Controls are volume, TBX control, and mid booster, a feature that was also used on later E.C. strats.

The tremolo unit is not a synchronized type, but a free-right tremolo with the unit dropped inside the body.
The truss rod is a bi-flex truss rod that can be used in both directions.
This guitar is a concentrated version of the Fender style, which is always challenging new things.

There are some signs of use such as scratches and dents, but considering that 40 years have passed since its manufacture, it maintains a fairly clean appearance and condition.

It comes with the original hard case and arm (expired), and even the shipping tag remains, making it a very attractive collector's item.

This model seems to embody the spirit of challenge unique to 80s Fender. Please come and experience one that can be called the starting point of the various successor models that have continued to the present day.
