Rare original fretless STEINBERGER XL-2, which changed guitar history in the early 1980s with its unique shape, headless mechanism, and innovative idea of using one-piece molded graphite.
The previous owner had position markers drilled into the fretboard surface to ensure the pitch of the guitar when playing. Pickups and circuits have been replaced, and we replaced them with EMG HBs.
There are some scratches, but the overall condition is clean and the fretboard surface is in good condition. Also, the original string gauge and the high tension derived from the headless structure often cause forward warpage, but there is no problem with this guitar so far. We are currently setting the gauge from 40 to 100 so that you can continue to play with confidence.
The instrument has some scratches, but considering the fact that it is 25 years old, it is a beautiful instrument. It is in good playing condition.

1980年代初頭にその独特なシェイプとヘッドレス機構、一体成型のグラファイトを使用した斬新なアイデアによりギターの歴史を変えたSTEINBERGER XL-2 の希少なOriginalフレットレス。
演奏時のピッチを確かなものとするため前オーナーにより指板面にポジショマーカーが打ち込まれています。 ピックアップ及びサーキット類も交換されており、こちらは当店でオリジナルと同じEMGのHBに交換しました。
若干の傷などは見受けられますが、全体的にきれいな状態は保たれており削れが心配される指板面も問題有りません。また、オリジナルの弦のゲージやヘッドレス構造から由来するテンションの高さで、順反りを起こした個体が多く見受けられますが当個体は今のところ問題有りません。今後も安心して演奏頂けますよう、現在ゲージは40～100にしております。
若干の傷は見られますが、25年経過している事を考慮しますと美品といえます。プレイコンディションは良好です。
