Gibson's Les Paul Studio Swamp Ash is now in stock.

This model was produced from 2003 to 2011. This is one of the first models produced in 2003, the first year of production.

The body is made of Swamp Ash, which is rarely used by the company.
The later models use rosewood for the fingerboard, but this early model uses ebony.
The swamp ash models were reissued later, but they also used rosewood, so the ebony fretboard period is a rare model.

The ash wood used in this model has a simple yet gorgeous look with a slight flamed appearance.

The pegs have been changed to PLANET WAVES "Auto-Trim" locking pegs.
The pegs are PLANET WAVES "Auto-Trim" locking pegs, which not only lock the strings, but also automatically cut off the excess strings by turning the pegs.
Pickups have been changed to Seymour Duncan SH-2n (Jazz) and Sh-5 (Custom).

There are some picking scratches on the top of the body and some glazing on the wood.
The guitar has been checked and adjusted by a professional repair person after arrival, and is in good playing condition.

GibsonのLes Paul Studio Swamp Ashが入荷いたしました。

2003年から2011年頃にかけて生産されていたモデル。入荷した個体は初年度である2003年に制作された最初期の1本です。

ボディーには同社では普段使用される事のすくないスワンプ･アッシュを使用。
後期のモデルには指板材にローズウッドを使用していますが、こちらの初期モデルにはエボニーが採用されています。
スワンプ･アッシュのモデルは後に復刻されましたが、そちらもローズウッドを使用している為、エボニー指板期はレアなモデルです。

こちらの個体に使用されているアッシュ材にはうっすらとフレイムが浮き出ており、シンプルながらもゴージャスなルックスとなっています。

前オーナー様によりパーツの変更箇所があり、ペグはPLANET WAVESのロック式ペグ"Auto-Trim"に変更。
こちらは弦をロックするだけでなく、余分な弦をペグを回すことで自動的にカットしてくれる機能の物となっています。
ピックアップはSeymour Duncanの SH-2n(Jazz)、Sh-5(CUSTOM)へと変更されています。

ボディートップにピッキング傷と木部に艶が発生している箇所がございます。
その他、細かい傷や軽度の打痕などの使用感はございますが、入荷後に専門のリペア担当にてチェック･全体調整を行い、演奏コンディションも良好です。
