We are pleased to announce the arrival of Kirk Douglas SG made by Gibson USA, released in 2013.

The Roots, an American hip-hop group formed in 1987, is a four-time Grammy Award-winning artist.
Kirk Douglas, a.k.a. Captain Kirk Douglas, the group's guitarist, and Gibson have teamed up to create a signature model, the Kirk Douglas SG, which is now in stock.

The three-pickup layout, binding wrapped around the head and neck, split diamond inlays on the head top, and other features make the SG Custom a base model, but rosewood was chosen for the fingerboard. Three 57 Classic pickups are installed.

The control layout looks like 2 volume/2 tone, but the 3-way selector also functions as the volume for the center pickup, so in reality it is 3 volume/2 tone.
Furthermore, the tone has a coil tap function for each of the front and rear pickups, making it a guitar that can cover a wide variety of sounds.

The rear tail vibrato roller attached to the body is not engraved with the usual "Gibson" but with the word "Captain," which is Kirk's affinity.
Furthermore, a rose is engraved on the side of the harp engraving, making it a special model with a full of custom feeling.

There are some chips on the side of the body, and there are some dents on the back of the body that may be buckle scratches.
The fretboard is in good condition and has been used with care and attention.

The original hard case and PRE-CHECK LIST that came with the instrument at the time of shipment are also included, making this an attractive collector's item.

This is a very rare model that is rarely seen on the market. This guitar is very attractive not only for Kirk fans but also as a guitar.
