The D-18 is a reissued 1939-spec authentic with a 42.9mm narrow neck and bracing style shifted closer to the rear.
It has a more balanced and powerful sound compared to the "forward type. Gluing is made of hide glue (nickel glue), and the truss rod is a steel T-bar rod, following the specifications of the time, making it one of the top-of-the-line models of Martin guitars.
The carefully selected high quality adirondack spruce and mahogany are a perfect match.
Overall, there are some line scratches and thin dents scattered throughout, but there is no major damage and the guitar is in beautiful used condition. Please experience the wild and gentle sound different from the regular model D-18.

42.9mmのナローネックにリア寄りにシフトさせたブレーシングスタイルを採用した1939年仕様の復刻オーセンティックのD-18。
「フォワードタイプ」と比べてバランスが良く力強いサウンドが印象的です。接着にはハイドグルー(ニカワ)を用いられており、トラスロッドはスティールTバーロッドを採用するなど、当時のスペックを踏襲したマーチンギターの最上位機種の１つ。
厳選された質の高いアディロンダックスプルースとマホガニーの相性は抜群です。
全体的に多少の線傷や薄い打痕等は散見されますが、大きなダメージは見られず綺麗な状態を保っている中古品です。レギュラーモデルのD-18とは違った野太く優しいサウンドを体感下さい。
