This vintage Gibson Hummingbird Custom, which appears to have been manufactured between 1974 and 1975, was made in Kalamazoo, according to the label.

It has a 3 piece neck with volute, block inlays, down belly bridge, 43.3mm nut, original rotomatic pegs, etc., as well as rich bass sound with double X bracing. It also has a dry vintage tone, which cannot be achieved with the current models.

There is a crack on the side of the body and a jack installation mark. Nut/saddle has been replaced (very low), weather cracks, dents on the body and back of the neck, scratches, cloudy paint, and dull metal parts can be seen, but the appearance is commensurate with the age of the instrument.

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well. The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen up to ±60°, and its operation has been confirmed (with a small amount remaining).

1974年から1975年頃製造と思われるギブソンのヴィンテージ・ハミングバードカスタム、ラベルからカラマズーメイドとなっております。

エレキと同様に70s特有のボリュート付きの3ピースネックや、ブロック・インレイ、ダウンベリー・ブリッジ、43.3mmナット、オリジナルロトマティック・ペグといった仕様に加えダブルXブレーシングによる豊かな低音が特徴の1本。ヴィンテージらしい乾いたトーンも魅力で現行では出せない味があります。

ピックアップ後付け(パッシブタイプ、メーカー/型番)ボディサイドにジャックの取り付け痕と塗装クラックがあります。ナット/サドル交換(かなり低め)、ウェザークラック、ボディやネック裏に打痕、引っ掻き傷、塗膜の曇り、金属部品のくすみが確認できますが、年式相応の外観となっております。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済み(残り少なめ)です。
