This is a Les Paul Custom made in Japan by Orville by Gibson, named after Orville Henry Gibson, the founder of Gibson.

It has a trans-red finish as seen in the 1992 catalog, mahogany body and neck, 628mm (24.75") scale/254mm (10") R fingerboard/43.0mm nut, Gibson USA pickups, and a rose fingerboard.

Orville brand guitars were produced from the mid-1980s to the end of the 1990s and were priced in the middle of the Gibson and Epiphone brands.

The overall appearance of the guitar shows signs of use (color fading, paint chips near the heel of the neck, scratches and scuffs on the binding and outer body, scuffs and scratches from playing, picking marks, faded metal parts and screws, fogging and pitting, etc.).

The guitar has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment, nut groove correction, saddle piece orientation change, and all pot scuffing cleaning) upon arrival. The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen up to ±60 degrees.

1992年カタログで確認できるトランスレッド・フィニッシュ、マホガニー・ボディ＆ネック、628mm (24.75")スケール/254mm (10")R指板/43.0mmナット、ピックアップはギブソンUSA製を採用し、ローズ指板仕様になっています。

1980年中頃から90年代終わり頃まで生産され、価格帯もGibson (ギブソン)とEpiphone (エピフォン)の中間に位置していたOrvilleブランド、高い完成度でお探しの方も多いモデルです。

全体的に使用感(色ヤケ、ネックヒール付近塗装チップ、バインディングやボディ外周に当てキズ・ひっかきキズ、スレや弾きキズ、ピッキング痕、金属パーツやネジ類の色落ち、曇り・ピッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ・ナット溝修正・サドル駒向き変更・全ポットガリ洗浄)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
