Vintage Gibson Dove in excellent condition!

The DOVE, Gibson's top square-shoulder model, was created in 1962.
Like the Hummingbird, which was born in 1960, the Dove features a striking pickguard. The Hummingbird features a hummingbird, and the Dove features a dove.
Solid spruce top, figured maple side/back, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, non-scalloped X-bracing, adjustable tune-o-matic bridge, and screw-down pickguard.
Narrow neck with approx. 39mm nut width, long scale.
* Pegs have been replaced with Schaller Cruson type. Strap pins, end pins, and bridge pins have been replaced.
Fret replacement, fingerboard correction, nut replacement (cow bone), saddle piece replacement (nylon), bridge reattachment, and veneer application to the back plate of the bridge have been done by a well-known guitar workshop affiliated with our store.
There are paint correction marks at the base of the left and right sides of the head, and some touch-up marks on the body and other parts. Unfortunately, the soundhole label has been removed and lost.
The truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen up to ±60°.
There are some other weather checks, scratches, dents, and rusted parts commensurate with its age, but it is in excellent condition!
It has a fat and grainy maple-like sound, and it sounds great when played with a bridge mute!

1960年に誕生したハミングバード同様、印象的なピックガードが目を引きます。ハミングバードにはハチドリが、そしてダブには鳩が描かれています。
ソリッドスプルースTop、フィギャド・メイプルSide/back、マホガニーNeck、ローズウッド指板、ノンスキャロップド・Xブレーシング、アジャスタブル・TUNE-O-MATICブリッジ、ネジ止めピックガード仕様。
約39mmナット幅のナローネックで、ロングスケール。
* ペグはSchaller製クルーソンタイプに交換されています。ストラップピン・エンドピン・ブリッジピンは交換されています。
当店提携の著名ギター工房によって、フレット交換・指板修正・ナット交換(牛骨)・サドル駒交換(ナイロン)、ブリッジ再接着、ブリッジ裏プレート突板貼り付けを行っています。
ヘッド左右付け根部に塗装修正跡、他ボディなどに所々タッチアップ跡があります。残念ながらサウンドホールラベルは剥がれて紛失されています。
トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
他、年代相応のウェザーチェック、傷・打痕、パーツサビなどございますが、コンディションは抜群！！
メイプルらしい太く粒立ちの良いサウンドで、ブリッジミュートでの刻みを交えると最高のサウンドを奏でられます！
