Solid maple shell snare drum made by solid machinist John Craviotto during his tenure at DW.
The date stamp "JULY 17 2007" and Mr. Craviotto's signature (branding) can be seen inside the shell.

This is a 5" deep snare drum, which is rarely found in circulation, so it has a clear profile and good response to even the most delicate touch, as well as a fast rise and a thick core.

The deep and rich resonance of a solid instrument has been preserved, while a sharp attack has been added, making it a high potential instrument that can be used in a wide range of genres!

It is equipped with a steel true pitch tension bolt and a metal strainer made by Nickelworks, the lever direction of which is adjustable.

There is a very slight roughness on the edge of the hitting surface, but it can be tuned without any problem.
There are some scratches on the parts and shell, but it is in good condition considering its age.

The AAA case for the protection racket is included, but it is only for a 6.5" deep case, so please consider it as an extra.

This is a masterpiece by John Craviotto, which is becoming valuable in the used market!

ソリッド加工の職人、ジョン・クラビオット氏がDWに在籍していた時代に製作された、ソリッドメイプルシェルのスネアドラム。
シェル内部に「JULY 17 2007」のデートスタンプと、クラビオット氏のサイン(焼印)が確認できます。

こちらは流通数の少ない深さ5インチの仕様となっているため、ハッキリとした輪郭と繊細なタッチにも反応するレスポンスの良さに加え、立ち上がりの早さと芯の太さが際立ちます。

ソリッドならではの深みのある豊かな響きはそのままに、鋭いアタックも加味されているため、幅広いジャンルにマッチする高いポテンシャルを持った一台です！

スチール製のトゥルーピッチテンションボルト、ニッケルワークス製のメタルストレイナーを搭載しており、こちらはレバーの向きが可変できる仕様となっております。

打面側のエッジ部にごく僅かなザラつきはございますが、チューニングには問題なく行なえます。
パーツやシェルに若干の傷はございますが、使用感は少なく、年代を考慮すると良好なコンディションです。

プロテクションラケットのAAAケースが付属致しますが、サイズが深さ6.5インチ用のケースとなっているため、あくまでおまけ程度としてご認識くださいませ。

中古市場でも貴重になりつつある、ジョン・クラビオット氏の名器です！
