This FRP-shell snare drum was sold in the early 2000s by the late Kozo Suganuma, known as the "King of Hands. This model has both the receptiveness of wood and the attack of metal to suit the playing style of Mr. Suganuma, who played everything from rock to jazz.
The characteristic feature of this model is the all-over snippy, which is equipped to express fine nuance and creates a unique presence in combination with the FRP shell.

The look of the FRP shell with its unique texture is also very attractive.
The lugs are late type small lugs, so durability is not a problem.

This is a very rare model to begin with, but the condition is also very clean and good.
Although the snare has been manufactured for 20 years, the gold parts are still shining, and although there are some minor scratches, it is in beautiful condition!

「手数王」の異名を持つ、故・菅沼孝三氏の2000年代の初期に販売されていた、FRPシェルのスネアドラムです。ロックからジャズまでこなす氏のプレイスタイルに合わせた、ウッドの包容力とメタルのアタック感を両立したモデルで、特徴的なのが全面当たりスナッピーです。
細かいニュアンスを表現するために装備されており、FRPシェルと相まって独自の存在感を醸し出しています。

FRPシェルならではの質感を生かしたルックスも非常に魅力的です。
ラグは後期タイプスモールラグですので、耐久性も問題ありません。

そもそも非常に珍しいモデルですが、コンディションも非常に綺麗で良好。
製造後20年は経過しているスネアですが、ゴールドパーツも輝いており、多少の細かな傷はあるものの、コンディションとしては美品です！
