Fender Hama Okamoto Precision Bass, 2019.

A signature model of Mr. Hama Okamoto, one of the most influential bassists active in the contemporary Japanese music scene, this bass is based on the 1968 Fender Precision Bass that Mr. HAMA OKAMOTO uses as his main instrument and is "an unlikely, easy-to-play The model features a slim jazz bass-style neck, 864mm (34") scale/184mm (7.25") R/38.5mm nut, vintage-style round paddle pegs and bridge cover, basswood body with good coloration, and a pickguard with a "red tortoiseshell" pattern, commonly known as a "red tortoise". The originality of this model stands out from the crowd with its vintage-style round paddle pegs and bridge cover, colorful basswood body, and pickguard with a "red tortoiseshell" pattern.

This is not only a signature model, but also one that is easy to play and boasts a high degree of perfection.

There are some fraying on the attached non-original soft case. It shows signs of use (dents near the back end of the body, small scratches on both sides of the bridge cover, scuffs, play marks, hairline scratches, picking marks, buckle marks, cloudy/pitted metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) upon arrival, the fret board is high enough to play, and the truss rod can be tightened or loosened up to ±60°.

現代日本のミュージックシーンで活躍している最も影響力のあるベーシストの一人、ハマ・オカモト氏のシグネチャーモデル。HAMA OKAMOTO氏がメインとして愛用している1968年製のFender Precision Bassがモチーフで、「ありそうでなかった弾き易いプレシジョン・ベース」をテーマに、ジャズベーススタイルのスリムネックを採用、864mm (34")スケール/184mm (7.25")R/38.5mmナット、ヴィンテージスタイルの丸いパドルペグやブリッジカバーの他、発色の良いバスウッド・ボディ、通称「赤べっこう」柄のピックガードといったオリジナリティが際立つ仕上がりです。

シグネチャーモデルとしてだけでなく弾き易さも兼ね備えた、高い完成度を誇る一本です。

付属ノンオリジナルソフトケースにほつれがあります。使用感(ボディ裏エンド付近に打痕、ブリッジカバー両脇に小キズ、スレや弾きスジ、ヘアライン傷、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り・ピッツ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
