This is Fernandez/Barney's reverse TB type, MV-65NS.

As the name "NS" suggests, this model is based on the model used by Nikki Sixx. It has a basswood body, bolt-on jointed maple neck, rose fretboard with the same position marks as the original, PJ pickup layout, and clean Vok-only specs.

The reverse TB type, known in Japan for its impressive looks and use by ZIGGY Norio Tojo, is one you will want to play with a pickup.

The strap pins/knobs have been changed, and the guitar shows signs of use (additional strap pins on the body back, dents/chips/cracks in the paint around the body, scuffs and scratches from playing, picking marks, buckle marks, paint fading along the wood grain, fading/fogging/bitzing/rusting on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fretboard has been set up (fret adjustment, cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, shimming at the joint, string height adjustment) upon arrival, and the originally low fret board is high enough to play well.

「NS」のネーミングの通りニッキー・シックス (Nikki Sixx) 使用機をモチーフにしたモデル。バスウッド・ボディ、ボルト・オン・ジョイントのメイプル・ネック、ローズ指板には本家同様のポジションマークが施され、PJピックアップ・レイアウト、Vokのみの潔いスペックになっています。

印象的なルックス、国内ではZIGGY 戸城憲夫氏の使用でも知られるリバースTBタイプ、ピック弾きで鳴らしたい一本です。

ストラップピン/ノブ変更、使用感(ボディバックにストラップピン増設痕、ボディ周り打痕・塗装チップ・塗装クラック、スレや弾きキズ、ピッキング痕、バックル痕、木目に沿った塗装ヤセ、金属パーツやネジ類の色落ち/曇り/ビッツ/サビ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(フレットすり合わせ・クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・ジョイント部シム入れ・弦高調整)済み、元来低めのフレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
