This is a gold top refinished/aged Gibson USA Les Paul Standard, made in 2000.

The weighty body with no weight relief has a powerful sound, plain maple top/mahogany back, mahogany neck, textured looks and tight, fat sound. The tone is solid and thick, and is one that you will want to play as hard as you can.

The PU has been changed to a GOTOH HB-Classicx2, the nut has been replaced, the body top has been refinished/weather cracked, the body back to the back of the neck has been over-lacquered, and it has been treated to give it a used look (the body back and pickguard are treated with a brick finish, there are scratches on the outer edge of the body, scratches from slipping and playing, picking scratches, sanding marks, and buckle marks). The exterior damage includes sandpaper marks on the buckle marks, cracks on the escutcheon, fogging/bitz/rust on metal parts and screws, etc.).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival. The fret board is high enough to play well, and the truss rod can be adjusted to tighten or loosen up to ±60°.

ウェイトリリーフのない重量感のあるボディは迫力あるサウンド、プレーンメイプル・トップ/マホガニー・バック、マホガニー・ネック、風合いあるルックスとタイトで野太いサウンドが特徴。骨太でソリッドなトーンは健在、ガンガン弾き込みたい一本です。

PUをGOTOH HB-Classicｘ2に変更、ナット交換、ボディトップをリフィニッシュ/ウェザークラック加工、ボディバックからネック裏オーバーラッカー、加工が施された使用感(ボディバックやピックガードにレリック加工、ボディ外周当てキズ、スレや弾きキズ、ピッキング痕、バックル痕にサンドペーパー痕、エスカッションの割れ、金属パーツやネジ類の曇り/ビッツ/サビ、等々の外観ダメージ)が見られます。

入荷時にセットアップ(クリーニング・弦交換・ロッド調整・オクターブ調整・弦高調整・フレットすり合わせ)済み、フレット山は演奏に問題ない高さがあり、トラスロッドは締める方向・緩める方向調整可能で±60°まで動作確認済みです。
