This is the G4160 chrome over brass shell from the USA-made Custom Series metal shell series.

The G4160 is a classic model that boasts the longest history among Gretsch's metal snares, with a full mid-low range that only brass can produce, and a warm, Gretsch-like sound produced by Gretsch's die-cast hoops.
This model has a tight, attacky, tight sound with a warm, Gretsch-like sound.

It is a snare drum that is both gorgeous, fat, powerful, and delicate, and is easy to use across genres from rock to jazz!

It has some scratches, stains, and other signs of use, but it can still be used well.
