G&L, Climax Bass is now in stock! Both the neck/body are marked "1995", so we think it was manufactured around 1995.
This model is the predecessor of "L-1500" which was manufactured in the 90s! Ash body with maple neck specification and one MFD humbucker pickup. The controls are volume, treble, and bass, with a mini-switch that can be used to coil-tap the pickup and turn the active circuit on or off. The treble/bass control is a passive circuit, so it works even when the active circuit is off.

The control knob and joint plate show some chrome peeling. The strap pin has been replaced with a locking type, but the strap side parts are not included. Finger rests have been added.
The head/neck shows signs of use with minor scratches throughout, and the decal on the head top logo has lifted with age. The body shows overall scuffs and minor dings, and there are paint cracks near the neck joint.

Neck condition is slightly high.
There is enough room in the truss rod.
About 70% frets remaining.
String height on the 12th fret: 1st string: approx. 2.0mm, 4th string: approx. 2.5mm

90年代に製造されていた「L-1500」の前身とも言えるモデル！アッシュボディにメイプルネック仕様、ピックアップにはMFDハムバッカーピックアップを1基搭載。コントロールはボリューム、トレブル、ベースとなっており、ミニスイッチにてピックアップのコイルタップとアクティブ回路のOn/Offが可能となっています。トレブル/ベースコントロールはパッシブ回路となっているため、アクティブOff時にも動作します。

コントロールノブやジョイントプレートにメッキ剥がれが見られます。ストラップピンがロックタイプへと換装されていますが、ストラップ側パーツは付属しません。フィンガーレストが増設されています。
ヘッド/ネックには全体に細かい傷の使用感が見られ、ヘッドトップロゴには経年によるデカール浮きが見られます。ボディには全体に擦り傷や細かい打痕が見られ、ネックジョイント付近には塗装クラックが見られます。
