Cool Jazzmas in stock, made in 1969, with block position and neck binding!

The neck date is "19MAR67B", which is 1967, but the head logo is the CBS logo from 1968. Also, the model code on the neck date is "19", which is Coronado II, but it was often used in those days. The frets and nut have been replaced, and the top of the head and back of the neck have been over-lacquered at that time. There are also traces of string guides that were added in the past on the 3rd and 4th strings of the head. The neck pocket has been sanded for a better fit at the joint.
The body is Alder and has been over-lacquered as well, but it still has a vintage look and feel. The back of the body has some fine horizontal weather cracks and a thick weather check vertically on the lower part. There is some paint peeling around the entire perimeter of the body, but it does not look unnatural.
The PU has vinyl coated leads and the serial number on the back side is "1189", original made in 1969. The pots are original from '66, both master vol and tone, and the preset section vol and tone are also original from '66. The toggle switch cap has been replaced, and the master Vol and tone knobs have also been replaced. (* The black type was painted white.) Also, the screw holes on the side of the master Vol knob have cracks around the screw holes because they are adjacent to the cavity area, and they have been glued back in place. * Please do not worry too much about it as it is a common problem. The pickguard has been adjusted by shaving the pickguard at the bridge anchor to prevent the pickguard from shrinking, which is common, but please be assured that it is currently hidden by the bridge and not visible. There is a solder on the preset selector that needs to be reworked, and one imo screw on the first string saddle has been replaced.

The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod can be adjusted in the tightening or loosening direction, and can still be turned and adjusted in the tightening direction. There are no string marks on the frets and about 70% of the frets are left. Currently, the string height is adjusted at about 2.0mm on the 6th string (12F) and about 1.5mm on the 1st string (12F).

Overall, there are some over-lacquers, but it has a great atmosphere. The date on each part ranges from '66 to '69, but we judge it to be an original '69 because of the solder on each part, the model code and logo on the neck, and so on. Although the look is a little different from the pre-CBS royal road Jazzmasters, on the contrary, it gives a sense of luxury, and combined with the damage, it has an unparalleled presence that is brilliantly radiated! The sound is also very Jazzmouth-like, with a "crisp" sound and an edge that goes great with drive sounds. In the vintage market where the price has been soaring recently, we hear that many of the buyers are executives who experienced the alterna-grunge movement of the 90's in real time. This is the last chance to get a Jazzmaster, which is a divine instrument for us players. Please be sure to get it as soon as possible!
