USED Guild / D-40 made in 1973 [12]

A 70's dreadnought shaped guild.
The mahogany side and back are made of mahogany, so it can be compared to a D-18 for Martin or a Hummingbird for Gibson.
The neck block is larger than other guitars of the same age, so it has more mass than its rivals, and this is reflected in its massive sound.
The price is still high, especially in recent years when the price of 70's vintage is soaring rapidly, but it is still a top brand to aim for.

The condition of the guitar has a sense of use and chips in the paint.
Nut, saddle, bridge pin, and endpin have been replaced.
There are some signs of reattachment on the bridge.
The neck angle has not been touched since the original setup, so the string height is about 3.5mm on the 6th string side of the 12th fret, which is high for modern use.
If you play chords with low frets, this is the one to try.
It comes with the original hard case of the time, although there is no logo.
