Made in 2004, the 000-16GT has scalloped bracing called Hybrid X-Frame and is made entirely of veneer with a Sitka spruce top and mahogany sides and back materials.
The neck joint is not a traditional dovetail joint, but rather a straight hole with a Mortise & Tenon joint that is firmly bolted together, giving it a "Martin sound" while keeping costs down.
The tone is well-balanced from bass to treble, and has a light and clear tone that is typical of mahogany.
Only the top of the body has a gloss finish, and the sides and back have a satin finish, giving it a moderately luxurious yet natural feel.

There are scratches on the side of the head from a winder, and minor scratches and dents on the top of the body.

2004年製、ハイブリッド・X・フレームと呼ばれるスキャロップ加工されたブレーシングを持ち、シトカ・スプルース・トップにマホガニーサイド&バックの材料で全て単板で作られる「000-16GT」です。
ネックのジョイント部を伝統的な蟻溝加工でなく直線的なホゾ穴に加工し、ボルトでしっかりと接合するモーティス&テノンジョイントを採用することで、コストを下げつつも、マーチンサウンド""を奏でます。
低音から高音までバランスが良いながらも、マホガニーらしい軽快で抜けの良いトーンが持ち味の逸品。
ボディトップのみグロス(つや有)フィニッシュとなっており、サイドとバックはサテン(つや消し)仕上げで、適度に高級感がありつつもナチュラルな質感が特徴的です。

ヘッドサイドにワインダーでのキズあり、ボディトップに細かなキズ、打痕などの使用感あり
