This 2001 Les Paul Standard Double Cutaway Plus is still very popular on the used market, even though it has been discontinued.
It has a flamed two-piece maple top, mahogany back, mahogany body and neck, rose fingerboard, and binding.
The slightly thin body thickness and chambered construction make this double cutaway model very lightweight and easy to handle, and it can be played smoothly up to the 24th fret.
Original 490R/498T pickups are installed.
Hardware is all gold and pegs are made by GROVER.
The 24-fret specification is rare for Gibson, and the lightweight body makes this model easy to play.
Controls are simple and easy to handle, and the toggle position reduces misoperation.
The sound with moderate mid-range fullness, even in the rear, is well ridden with distortion, and the playability of the double cutaway is good, flexibly responding to hard genres of music.

The instrument has relatively minor signs of use, such as tarnished metal parts.

フレイムのメイプル2ピーストップにマホガニーバック、マホガニーボデイ＋ネック、ローズ指板、バインデイング仕様です。
やや薄めのボディ厚と、チェンバード構造により非常に軽量で取り回しが良く仕上げられており、24フレットまでスムーズに演奏が可能なダブルカッタウェイモデルです。
ピックアップにはオリジナルの490R/498Tを搭載。
ハードウェアはオールゴールドでペグはGROVER製です。
ギブソンにしては珍しい24フレット仕様に、軽量なボディは、演奏性抜群なモデルです。
コントロールもシンプルで扱いやすく、トグルの位置も誤操作が少なくなります。
リアでも適度な中域の膨らみをもったサウンドは、歪みの乗りもよく、ダブルカッタウェイの演奏性も良く、ハードなジャンルの音楽にも柔軟に対応致します。

金属パーツのくすみなど比較的使用感のある個体です。
