Tri-sound switch
The neck and bridge pickups can be switched between series, coil tap, and parallel wiring.
The tri-sound switch allows the neck and bridge pickups to be wired in series, coil-tapped, or parallel.
It allows for a wide variety of sound variations.

Gibraltar Performer bridge
The "Gibraltar Performer" bridge offers improved ease of use and tuning stability.
Saddle adjustment screws are located on the tailpiece side.

Super 58 pickups
The Super '58 pickups are the original Ibanez pickups from the late 70's, and have earned a reputation as the best pickups in the business.
The warm tone and good response of this classic pickup with alnico magnets are very comfortable.

Quik Change Classic Tailpiece
The unique shape of the tailpiece is one of the AR's icons.
The slit in the top allows for quick and easy string changes.

Chambered Body Construction
The outline and arch shape of the AR's body design have been retained, while a chambered body construction has been adopted for easy handling, light weight, rich body tone, and warmth.
The chambered body construction provides a rich body tone and a warm sound.

Jatoba Fretboard
Jatoba fretboard is a hard South Sea wood with brownish/reddish-brown bark and grain similar to quince and bubinga.
It is much harder than maple and comparable to rosewood, making it suitable for fretboards.

Set-in neck
The neck is jointed in a set-in style.
The neck back slopes gently toward the joint and is heel-less with no step at the joint.

アウトラインやアーチ形状などARのボディ･デザインはそのままに、チェンバード構造ボディを採用したことで、取り回しやすい軽さと
豊かなボディ鳴り、ウォームなサウンドを実現したステージ･ギターです。

Jatoba Fretboard
カリンやブビンガなどに似た褐色/赤褐色の木肌と木目を持つ硬質な南洋材のジャトバ材指板です。
メイプルよりははるかに硬く、ローズウッドと比較しても同等の硬度で指板材に適しています。

Set-in neck
ネックはセットイン方式でジョイントしています。
ネックバックはジョイント部に向かうにつれてなだらかに傾斜し、継ぎ目に段差のないヒールレス形状に仕上げています。
